About me

Hi there! I'm James Stewart, a filmmaker/videographer from Birmingham, Alabama. I earned a degree in Telecommunication & Film from the University of Alabama and I'm currently living in Brooklyn, NY looking to gain post-production experience. I've mainly worked on set as a PA, Sound Operator and 1st AC.

I also have experience editing student films and content for social media. Aside from my main goal of working in post production, I am also open to taking on a variety of media production roles and I'm eager to gain diverse experience.

My career background outside of filmmaking includes sale, customer service and other administrative work. My skills include Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office and Google GSuite. I am looking for freelance roles as well as in-house positions. This portfolio is an introduction to myself and a display for my work and professional resources.
